Organised 2 National Philatelic Exhibitions in Bhubaneswar: Millipex 2000 and INPEX 2002

Family

Father : Late Bhagabat Sahoo, Mother : Late Shreeya Sahoo Wife late Sumitra, was a writer, philatelist, founder-publisher of quarterly journal Stamps & Stamps. Two sons : (1) Subrat, IAS officer of MP - Chhatisgarh cadre (1992 RR), now Secretary, Sports, Youth affairs, Culture and Tourism. (2) Sujit, a software engineer-cum-MBA (IIML), an ex-sr.consultant with US firm Deloitte & Touche Consulting Group, now Director, Trianz. Three grandsons and one grand daughter aged 9 who has authored a story book for children
